In Topic: Cards Reshuffled 22

06 December 2002 - 03:38 PM

Hey Laufey! Been a long time since I've visited the Attic, as you know. It looks like the Cards Reshuffled is well on its way to becoming another major hit. Good going! :D

Just a very quick comment, since I'm a bit in a hurry (as usual these days). Couldn't resist Evil Aerie, you know? An excellent chapter, I loved it all the way. The Dark Side is really her niche, isn't it? Gods, the way she manipulates people! Well... duh... :D

Excellent Yoshimo too. Very in character, I think, and I love the way you make him speak. I was thinking if he could stick his geas on Aerie, but she'd probably like it anyway.

Whoops... back to RL! :D

In Topic: The Yokohama Slayers (part 1?) ON!

14 January 2003 - 01:29 AM

- "Hey, Yokohama Slayers is a hard rock band. All the best hard rock lyrics tell about booze, screwing or killing. Or perhaps motorcycles. As the Great Lemmy puts it: 'wasted for ever by speed, bikes and booze, yeah tramp and the brothers, all born to lose'. Or simply 'Hi! Ho! Let's go!' There is a philosophy I can live by. Now shut up and get me a soda."

ROFL!!! I just love Peri's straightforwardness! ;) :) :)

- "You entirely miss the idea," had Joneleth the lead guitarist explained. "Hard rock is not about intellectual. It is about the beast within, libido understood in more broad way. The base lust for everything, the aggression, the willingness to fight. It is there. I am surprised that you don't see that."

I believe Sarevok is more a man of action than of reflection, Johnny. :)

Sarevok couldn't argue - Joneleth certainly wasn't an anti-intellectual, in fact he had three college degrees, but had left his job in a renowned thinkthank in order to live on the road with Yokohama Slayers.

Had to be!

Sarevok sighed. Sometimes being the babysitter, road manager, bouncer and bodyguard for the band WAS a bit much, as much as he enjoyed his job in general.

:D BWAHAHAHAHA!!! :)

Loved it all!

Old friend! Great to see you alive and well!

*hugs* It's certainly great to hear such words!

LOL! Those two words speak more than... er... thousand pictures?

Tell me about it!

Poor Jaheira

I don't know if it's just me, but the characters I love the most are the ones I torture the hardest! Is this racional or what?

"Then my lips shall crush yours in an inseparable, revitalizing lock of passion."

ROFLMAO! A perfect Ano line!

Thanks! Everyone has to 'revitalize' once in a while! ;-)

"Edwin saved Boo!" Minsc interrupted, but Jaheira ignored him.

AWWWWWWWWWW!

Edwin, the unwilling Hero!

"And aren't the Harpers supposed to be a secret organization? Why does everyone walk around wearing a pin? So that we can all play Spot the Harper?"

That is actually a damn good question.

And I suspect it's one of those questions that can never be answered. Just like 'where did we come from?', 'who are we?', 'where are we going?'

MUHAHAHA!

In a dream, all social restrains are gone. ;-)

ROFLMAO! Doctor Keldorn!

I just *couldn't* resist. ;-)

*wheeze*

Very funny!!

Thank you! And thank you for commenting! I really appreciated it.

Edwin Odesseiron. He was struggling to dislodge the squeaking form of a golden fur ball from his rucksack, at the same time he tried to hide its contents. If it weren't for the birds singing in the background, Jaheira thought, she almost wished Firkraag had gotten the best of her.

Oh, yeah, I would too...

I wouldn't, actually, since I love Eddie to pieces. It was just too much fun having Jaheira go over the top because of him.

Oh-oh..."birth" is the word he is looking for

*chuckles* Not a big fan of Jaheira, I gather? :)

Hmmm...sounds like very much on topic for me... Any objections?

I don't object! I just wasn't sure, since I thought this group are always at each other's throats. Which is pretty normal to them: so to me they never seemed a bunch of nutcases. :)

Thank you very much for your comment, Gracious Host!

It's not just you. :D

High five, sis!

Vadrak Dekaras: That's right. 'Favorite character' she calls me. Ha! That just means I'm the one most likely to get almost killed, or to suffer physical or emotional anguish on a regular basis, just because she's trying to be dramatic. Not to mention the humiliating spectacle of her trying to force me into various strange and repulsive outfits.

I must empathise with your Scribe here, Master Dekaras. Besides, you get to have all the fun. Just imagine what it would be like to live happily ever after in a castle atop a green hill, with a lovely submissive wife and fifteen children in tow. And lets not forget how your word would be the Law and how everyone else's moral conduct should be guided by your perfect, honest, and selfish example.

But I sympathise with you about the outfits. Bad Laufey!
