"Also: Got a spam report that spam had been sighted here - I can't seem to see the post though. Possibly already removed by another mod. Otherwise feel free to point me at it again."

I reported it. Some ad for a product, with link. There were also a lot of other spam (spams? hamhocks?) in the forums. Damn, the stuff accumulates rapidly. Those folks never sleep.

Good to see this epic novel still in progress, with the usual fine touches of humor, character, and swashbuckling misadventures. Please, keep doing the voodoo that you do so well.

I hadn't realized you'd picked up writing Canon, again, but I'm glad you did! As I've remarked elsewhere, you have real insight in writing characters with enough traits and contradictions to build a sense of depth. I hope your health continues to improve--not merely for you to write more, though hopefully that will be a secondary effect. Or a tertiary one. ;) Thanks again for all the effort you've put into Canon!

Yeesh, 14,000...? How fortunate to be popular. ;)

Very nicely done! Nevaziah's battle is a delight, as is his congenial, absent-minded, evil persona. Zaerini's response to Edwin's remark, her own copying of powers, her bloody attack (which no doubt Ducky greatly enjoyed): delightful. And it was great meeting the that bored, casually friendly beholder once again. Shame they can't travel with him. He'd no doubt find it interesting, but might steal attention away from your core party characters.

Great stuff. :)

Very nice. :) Though the final battle between Rini and the Other Rini seemed almost anti-climactic, and over too soon. Not that it wasnm't satisfying, but Other Rini offered no fallback defense, which you'd almost expect from any incarnation of Rini--even one that wore armor with spikes. ;)

That said, exceptionally well done, as always. :)
