> Errr, who's Jennifer Darling? :)

She was in the Smurfs, the Iron Giant movie and on the old Dungeons and Dragons cartoon show, and I do know she played in two different Leisure Suit Larry Games

> !!! Powerpuff Girls get all the good voices. I am mad for Mazzy and

> Viconia's. Jennifer Hale also stole the show in Torment as

> Fall-From-Grace.

J. Hale also did Dynaheir in BG1

> Oh geez, is that why Nalia's whiny tones were so familiar. Ugh. I couldn't

> figure it out for weeks.

Dee Bradley Baker also did Skie in BG1, she was a noble then too. :)

I forgot to mention Kevin M. Richardson as Sarevok. Avery Brooks handpicked him to play Captain Sisko on the Stds9 : The Fallen, game.

> !!!!! Geez!

Quite :)

> Hey... I miss Pinky and the Brain.

So do I. They should have made a couple of more seasons...But I guess it wasn't to be. *sigh*

!! Which LSL games?

And she was... Smurfette? Or is that too obvious?

Oh geez. She's all over the place. :)

ha! I knew Nalia reminded me fo Skie!

Well, if they'd continued doing that "Pinky, the Brain and Elmira" think, I can't say I'd have wanted them to continue.

Victorian Principles in LSL7 and I believe the La Costa-Lotta receptioniste in the LSL6 CD-Rom edition.

> And she was... Smurfette? Or is that too obvious?

Yep... and I think she also was the old witch with the curly red wig. Sorry about the name, they translated the show in Dutch here, and her name went with it.

> Oh geez. She's all over the place. :)

She also was on Darkwing Duck and the Powerpuff girls (miss Imagoodlady).

> Well, if they'd continued doing that "Pinky, the Brain and

LOL, Brain should have hooked up with Montana Max. :) But there were some very good ones in the show...Sometimes I still hum the tune of the Smirksehoven. :) Remember Billy-Bob and his Coff-ety problems?

Thanks, but it's not a problem. The topic these days is just to provide a distraction for anyone who might be a little blocked.

> Oh well. I guess I'll probably post on topic one day. :)

If you posted right now, this second, then you might be ok, but I think the general pattern here is to wait once the next quiz is announced.

You two are making me wish I had watched that crazzy show once. :)

Which puff girls are they? Bubbles, Buttercup, or Blossom?

High enough charisma keeps that from happening. My PC:s almost always have charisma through the roof (yeah, I'm vain) and the evil NPC:s sometimes complain but they've never walked out. I don't know if it works in the other direction, my one truly evil PC kept faithfully to his own kind of people.

I love that show. Not for the smurfs but for Gargamel. He was SO cool. Not to mention that in the Dutch version, he was played by a very prominent stage action, who had a really great voice.

> Which puff girls are they? Bubbles, Buttercup, or Blossom?

I really have no idea... I don't watch the show that often to keep them apart. I think Melissa is the Kindergrarten teacher, I'm pretty sure she isn't one of the powerpuff girls herself.

When a good character kills it's called "justice". When a bad character kills it's called "violence". Call it what you will but BG2 is first and foremost about killing. As much as Darv would like to, he can't spend all his time in bed w/ Vicky.

So far this guy doesn't sound too terribly evil, just sounds like a mercenary. Although it is said that you can judge a man by the company he keeps, and based upon his followers I think I have a general idea of what kind of person he must be.

I like the style of this piece and I especially like your descriptions of Viconia. Sounds like you've got a firm grasp on her personality. Overall, I don't have too many criticisms. Just keep in mind that Word's grammar checker only goes so far (just a few little errors, nothing too serious). I'm looking forward to part 2.

Oh, and on your little Viconia "bug": you might have selected a custom AI script for her or accidentally put her into "guard mode." I did something similar with Imoen--I wrote a script that made her follow after Jaycen if he got any more than 20 paces away from her, if any enemy attacked Jaycen she'd drop what she was doing and protect him, if Jaycen was critically injured she'd cast Invisibility on him, if Jaheira got too close to her she'd run away from her, and a few other things that gave her a little more of a personality. The scripting language is pretty cool once you figure it out.

Working on it, working on it. It's really weird, I've gone for weeks lately barely forcing out a story idea here and there because I've been so busy with work and assorted family stuff (not to mention spending a week and a half sick as a dog). Now for some strange reason, in the last three days I've had ten story ideas pop into my head. I'm down to nine now, Bhaalspawn Paradise was one of them. And good news- Monday I'm leaving to spend two weeks in a hotel room with a brand new laptop! I can't wait to see it, it's waiting for me there. So lots of writing time coming up!

Interesting! That's something to keep in mind. The heroic evil guy I played before never actually got abandoned; but I never let him because I kept doing things to knock his reputation back down when I reached 16 or 17.

Actually, he wouldn't want to.

I did call the story "Child of Murder," after all. ;) It wasn't because I had a really crappy imagination.

It's tough to judge someone from a setup piece, though. Like I said, he doesn't do anything bad in "Long, Cold Night." Afterall, the man's just sitting around in his room drinking wine. You can't be really really villainous under those circumstances. ;)

Hmmm... can he be judged by his company? Yeah, probably. But I guess it depends on the way you look at things.

Any comments on what errors you're talking about?

Any indepth background check on me will reveal I dropped out of school a month into 7th grade, so I am not aces with grammar. I also often just ignore grammar for the sake of effect, but those instances are probably fairly obvious.

I don't have any custom AI scripts, and this went on for the entire game, from the second dungeon I brought her into. Lara probably caught it with the cleric script, but I really don't know for sure and I'm too lazy to check. Like I said though, I've seen fighters do it, too.

Oh, yeah? Two words, my friend: Cor Delryn.

'Sides, from what I understand, I portrayed a lot about Jade in the setup piece. But then, she was more active than Darvith in that one.

He travels with a drow! Kill him!! ;)

> Oh, yeah? Two words, my friend: Cor Delryn.

Conceded. But Darvith isn't a child abuser. Ugh, I couldn't even write about one.

> 'Sides, from what I understand, I portrayed a lot about Jade in the setup

> piece. But then, she was more active than Darvith in that one.

She was also insane. ;)

Seriously, I find writing him a little frustrating because of this very thing. He doesn't have an obvious flag that portrays what he's like in a snippet. Cor was villainous because he stood there and insulted the crap out of his emotionally traumatized son. Jade was pretty obviously insane. Darvith comes off as a fine guy, and is supposed to most of the time, so it's tough for me to... pull off.

> He travels with a drow! Kill him!! ;)

Gah!

> Are you questioning me?!

Uh, no?
