Despite Adrian's best efforts, the Shadow Dragon suceeded in casting it's spell. Sheets of purple comet fire formed just below the roof, and rained down on the party, dazing and almost blinding them.

Korgan, clinging to the roof and making his way across axe cut by careful axe cut, was not spared; the comet-fire blazed into reality just under his armor, seeming to fry and freeze him at the same moment.

Edwin and Jan let out cries of pain and collapsed. The monsters Edwin had summoned were anihilated.

Tree and Viconia, still down from where the dragon's tail-lashing had put them, got the full effect of teh blinding coldfire right in their faces. Tree howled. Viconia hissed.

Adrian couldn't see anything. His armor gave him a measure of protection, being itself powerfully enchanted, but his helmet was knocked loose, and his short cut hair was all but singed away and he was forced to shut his eyes against the blinding bipolar power of heat and cold. Blindly, he continued to slash with his blade.

Only Anomen, still beneath the monster, was spared. He struck a particularly vicious strike against the dragon's kneecap, and was rewardd with a loud and nasty crack sound. The dragon roared in pain and rage, and the echoes shook the chamber, nearly knocking Korgan from his precarious perch. It shifted and tried to stomp down on Anomen, but by this point his own sight was returning, and he rolled away. It was only a matter of time before the dragon decided to sit on him, and that would surely be the end.

Still blind, Tree staggered to her feet, began chanting her strange song, and took a running jump at hte monster's flank. She sailed unnaturally hight through the air, and landed on it's skaly hide. She got in three strikes with her enchanted staff before a wing buffet sent her flying through the entrance arch, back into the corrupted temple from which they had come. Desperately singing her song once more, she manage to turn a wild tumbling fall into a controlled roll along the corridor. Instead of being killed or maimed, she only suffered bone bruises.

"Get up Tree," she murmured to herself, "Just get up. Get. Up!" Gritting her teeth, she staggered back towards the chamber as her sight slowly returned.

Viconia screamed a Drow war cry and her Flail of Ages once again slammed into the dragon's tail, burning it with it's own combination of fire, cold and acid. The dragon lashed out agian with it's tail, but this time she ducked, and pressed her attack again.

Adrian tried a Bhaalscream into the creature at point blank range, but while it flinched from the power of his fury, the Wyrm was not seriously harmed. It raised a foot as if to stomp him, then then changed it's mind. Quick as a striking snake, it's head lunged down and clamped around Adrian in a powerful bite. The Storm Armor saved him from it's teeth--sparks flew from the dark metal as the dragon bit--but it did not spare him the pressure of the bite. He let out a cry of pain, and dropped his sword. He could not draw another breath. The thing might not be able to eat him, but it could surely suffocate him.

At that point Korgan finally reached a point directly above the dragon. Wrenching his axe free of the roof, he screamed in berserker rage as he fell upon it....

Was trying to figure out which spell this was, but couldn't quite do so. Spoil me would you?

Yikes! Hang on, I can revive Eddie if you give me a few moments...

Was trying to figure out which spell this was, but couldn't quite do so. Spoil me would you?

It is actually my best guess at a spell trap in watcher's keep, where i tripped something in one of the labs on the chromatic demon level and this purple rain/shooting stars came down on a diagonal all over the screen. I think my party members all saved against it, so I have no idea what it was.

Yikes! Hang on, I can revive Eddie if you give me a few moments...

Oh, he's okay, he's just hurt and angry.

Wait until she gets the Shadow Leather and really starts looking Matrix-y....

and this is just the shadow dargon still have to take on our frendly red and far later that pissed of blue(if you know who i mean?)

don't forget teh sanctimonious silver one inbetween...and the black one....
