Here is the Imoen and Vicky chapter, as promised. Contains some naughtiness and heavy innuendo… :)

Rush Of Blood To The Head, part 5.4.

“Grrr, how comes that a building with stone walls has such a poor sound protection,” Imoen complains loudly, sticking her pink-haired head into the pillow, “I can’t sleep with all that racket they’re making…”

“What are you complaining about, I had to endure this for more than a couple of tendays,” Viconia sighs laying beside Imoen in the two beds that have been pushed together, creating a large one, “but you are correct, the stone walls should not be breached by any sound… which means…”

“Peeping holes!” Imoen exclaims, “let’s see if we can find ‘em!”

With that she jumps out of the bed and strides over to the wall that is separating their room from Theodur and Jaheira’s.

“Come Vic, help me with this closet,” she shouts after a little while, “Ugh, it is so heavy, what’s inside it anyways? Feels like full of bricks… hmm, that’s weird, it’s empty! It must be magical! Vic, will you help me or not?” Imoen is becoming impatient.

“Keep your voice lower or you will alert them,” Viconia warns, rising from the bed, “all though unlikely that they would notice anything if I would blow a horn directly in their ears, at this moment…”

Viconia goes over and joins Imoen into her efforts to push the closet away from the wall, but all their attempts are in vain.

“See! I told ya, it’s magical!” Imoen speaks excited.

“Magical, nothing! It’s attached to the floor with bolts, you nitwit!” Viconia is angry, “now see, you made me rise from the bed for nothing. Why did I even bothered rising up – it’s not like I, a Drow, am interested into peeping at two half-bred mongrels in the process of coupling. Pah!”

“Well, I am not interested in that either, I just wanted to find that peeping hole,” Imoen grins and that makes Viconia even more angry, “hey, I’m a rogue – I gotta practice!”

Viconia only snarls in response and returns to the bed, Imoen joins her soon afterwards…

“Vic? Vic? VIC?”

“WHAT?”

“Er… you’ re not really angry, are you? Say that you’re not angry, please? Please? Pretty please? Very pretty please?”

“Shut up, or I will suffocate you with my pillow, brat!”

“Awwww, thanks Vic, I know you won’t stay mad at me…”

“Hug me again, and you will be sleeping in the hallway.”

Approximately a minute of silence has passed, until…

“Vic? Vic? VICKY? Will it take them much longer, howd’ya think?”

“Hmph. Let me just listen for a moment…” Viconia rises from the bed and turns her head towards the wall, “shouldn’t be long now, probably a couple of minutes. And cover your ears for that…”

A couple of minutes later…

“Whoa, Vic, you guessed it! And thanks for the warning… Gee, they do seem to have a lot of fun! Even though I feel pretty weird… y’know… Jaheira, well…”

“Well, what?” Viconia cocks her head, becoming slightly more interested.

“Well, I shouldn’t probably say that, but… I still don’t feel really good about seeing them together…” Imoen sighs, looking at the ceiling.

“And why would that be, Imoen?” Viconia is becoming more intrigued in the conversation, “she is slightly older than him, but the difference is nothing to make anyone feel odd, I should think.”

“It’s not that, Vic,” Imoen replies, “It is… well, it’s about Khalid…”

“Druid’s late husband?” Viconia asks with incomprehension, “what does he got to do with his ex-wife spreading her legs for another? I admit, I do not understand the surface customs, but I see nothing that would make me feel queasy about it.”

“Geez, you can be blunt as a brick, Viconia,” Imoen chides her, “don’t ya remember how… well, how happy they both seemed to be together… I mean, Khalid did love her and I thought she loved him too… and that was… how long ago? Not even a year… boy, if they had some problems in their marriage, they were well hidden…”

“Still I say – so what? Males come, males go… my respect for the druid has only grown since she moved on from that pathetic excuse of her ex-husband.”

“Don’t… don’t you dare – Viconia, don’t you dare call Khalid pathetic!” Imoen’s voice almost turns into a scream, but Viconia shuts her palm over Imoen’s mouth.

“Do you want them to hear it? Not that I care, but I would think you will only embarrass yourself, pink one,” Viconia laughs, but it doesn’t last long… “Ouch! Why did you bite me for, you little brat!”

“Serves you right, Viconia! Don’t you ever, ever call Khalid names again! I… I liked him and I… loved him as a friend. I miss him dearly, but I don’t think you can understand,” Imoen sighs heavily.

“Do not condemn me so quickly, Imoen,” Viconia looks at her seriously, “I am not blind. I saw your attraction to him - no doubt that it only grew stronger after our valiant leader told you about the involvement with his wife. And I saw well enough how your attitude towards him changed, you were so sympathetic and supportive that the jaluk himself was embarrassed… he actually thought that you had a crush on him. Imoen… he is dead. He does not suffer anymore. He was a… good man, so I suppose that wherever his spirit is now, it is not a bad place.”

“Yes… Khalid is dead…” Imoen whispers grimly, “thank you, Vic. I needed to hear that… maybe I can forgive Jaheira after all, she means so much to Theo… and having heard that, I probably also know why… I guess she’s great in bed, huh?”

“Nonsense! She’s a witless half-breed, what can she possibly know…” Viconia snarls.

“Oh, I wouldn’t dismiss her so easily… you know, there’s an easy way to tell that…”

“How? I don’t plan to sleep with her, if you were implying that,” Viconia smirks.

“Hehe… not necessary… you sure are twisted, Vic… I like that!” Imoen giggles, “know why I think Jaheira is a great lover? She has small feet!”

“Small feet? You have got to be kidding me…”

“No, it’s true – that’s an old surfacer’s belief, it never fails, really! See, Theo has small feet too, so he’s probably good at it, too… and having… err… heard the evidence, I think that the old belief has not been proven wrong!” Imoen proudly declares.

“Oh, will you shut up and let me finally have some sleep… at least while those two are quiet…” Viconia mutters.

“Wow, you mean that they… see, see, the old superstition is correct!” Imoen pokes Viconia in the ribs, “and look at this,” Imoen raises her leg in the air, “See! I have really small feet too! Oh, I will be… I mean - I am the new goddess of love and sensuality!”

Viconia raises her leg too and lifts it beside Imoen’s to compare the size of their feet…

“What a ridiculous superstition, it does not prove a thing,” Viconia frowns, lowering her leg.

“Aww, don’t feel disappointed, Vic… yours is just a tad larger than mine…” Imoen giggles.

“Humph, I will not tolerate being called the ‘bigfoot of the party’,” Viconia growls.

“Hey, but you don’t have the biggest feet amongst us…” Imoen exclaims, barely holding back the laughter.

“Edwin!” Viconia gasps before they both explode in a wave of hysterical laughter that is followed by furious coughing and ends up with a friendly hug after which they separate to retreat to their respective sides of the bed.

“That was fun, but can we get some sleep now, please?” Viconia asks in a pleading voice.

“Sure, Vic,” Imoen replies, still coughing, “And Vic… y’know… I like you. You’re a good friend, really…”

“Whatever… now shut up or I’ll cast Silence on you,” Viconia mutters as finally the room engulfs in blissful silence…

“Pink haired menace…” those are Viconia’s last words before she drifts of to the dream world.

“Grrr, how comes that a building with stone walls has such a poor sound protection,” Imoen complains loudly, sticking her pink-haired head into the pillow, “I can’t sleep with all that racket they’re making…”

Better get used to it, immy :)

“Peeping holes!” Imoen exclaims, “let’s see if we can find ‘em!”

:) Hmm, I wonder if this also means that edwin can spy on their room?

“Well, I am not interested in that either, I just wanted to find that peeping hole,” Imoen grins and that makes Viconia even more angry, “hey, I’m a rogue – I gotta practice!”

Of course ;)

“Er… you’ re not really angry, are you? Say that you’re not angry, please? Please? Pretty please? Very pretty please?”

“Shut up, or I will suffocate you with my pillow, brat!”

Edwin must be getting a really bad night's sleep, what with all the noise everyone else is making.

“Hmph. Let me just listen for a moment…” Viconia rises from the bed and turns her head towards the wall, “shouldn’t be long now, probably a couple of minutes. And cover your ears for that…”

heh, Vic's listened to them enough times to know what's going on, has she?

A couple of minutes later…

“Well, I shouldn’t probably say that, but… I still don’t feel really good about seeing them together…” Imoen sighs, looking at the ceiling.

Ah, I was wondering if they were going to have this conversation.

:P Maybe that was the problem - if jaheira had been open with Khalid about how she felt, then Khalid might still be alive and Jaheira and Theo wouldn't have so many issues.

“Still I say – so what? Males come, males go… my respect for the druid has only grown since she moved on from that pathetic excuse of her ex-husband.”

8) Oy, don't be mean about Khalid. He's been treated badly enough by this story already without you bitching about him too.

:P But knowing that he had lost Jaheira's love would have been horrible for him. Poor Khalid.

“Yes… Khalid is dead…” Imoen whispers grimly, “thank you, Vic. I needed to hear that… maybe I can forgive Jaheira after all, she means so much to Theo… and having heard that, I probably also know why… I guess she’s great in bed, huh?”

Well, if that was theo's main concern he'd probably have gone with Vic really.

“What a ridiculous superstition, it does not prove a thing,” Viconia frowns, lowering her leg.

:D

“Humph, I will not tolerate being called the ‘bigfoot of the party’,” Viconia frowns.

What about eddie?

“Edwin!” Viconia gasps before they both explode in a wave of hysterical laughter that is followed by furious coughing and ends up with a friendly hug after which they separate to retreat to their respective sides of the bed.

Ah, so they figured out the putting the beds together to make them long enough thing too, then. Eddie could be struggling if he's in a single room, mind.

“Whatever… now shut up or I’ll cast Silence on you,” Viconia mutters as finally the room engulfs in blissful silence…

Surprised she's never done that on Theo and Jaheira, actually :)

Nice chapter :P

“Grrr, how comes that a building with stone walls has such a poor sound protection,” Imoen complains loudly, sticking her pink-haired head into the pillow, “I can’t sleep with all that racket they’re making…”

Better get used to it, immy ;)

And quickly, too... :P

“Peeping holes!” Imoen exclaims, “let’s see if we can find ‘em!”

:P Hmm, I wonder if this also means that edwin can spy on their room?

He probably can hear them, yes...

“Well, I am not interested in that either, I just wanted to find that peeping hole,” Imoen grins and that makes Viconia even more angry, “hey, I’m a rogue – I gotta practice!”

Of course 8)

That goes without saying. :)

“Shut up, or I will suffocate you with my pillow, brat!”

Edwin must be getting a really bad night's sleep, what with all the noise everyone else is making.

Oooh, is he going to be cranky in the morning or what!

“Hmph. Let me just listen for a moment…” Viconia rises from the bed and turns her head towards the wall, “shouldn’t be long now, probably a couple of minutes. And cover your ears for that…”

heh, Vic's listened to them enough times to know what's going on, has she?

I'd say so, yes. :)

“Well, I shouldn’t probably say that, but… I still don’t feel really good about seeing them together…” Imoen sighs, looking at the ceiling.

Ah, I was wondering if they were going to have this conversation.

Sooner or later it had to come up. Too bad that Vic isn't particularly understanding... though she tries.

:( Maybe that was the problem - if jaheira had been open with Khalid about how she felt, then Khalid might still be alive and Jaheira and Theo wouldn't have so many issues.

True. I think that Jaheira was feeling terribly guilty and delayed it for as long as she could... not a good thing to do, really. :(

“Still I say – so what? Males come, males go… my respect for the druid has only grown since she moved on from that pathetic excuse of her ex-husband.”

:P Oy, don't be mean about Khalid. He's been treated badly enough by this story already without you bitching about him too.

Eh... I was hating myself as I wrote this. Also the main reason why I will not write the prequel to this tale. :(

:( But knowing that he had lost Jaheira's love would have been horrible for him. Poor Khalid.

That is what Viconia can not understand - the concept of love is still pretty alien to her... which may change. I do feel pretty rotten for poor Khalid - the depressing thing is that I can't really make it up to him now in this story... :(

Well, Im is not that insightful into these things...

“What a ridiculous superstition, it does not prove a thing,” Viconia frowns, lowering her leg.

:P

:)

“Humph, I will not tolerate being called the ‘bigfoot of the party’,” Viconia frowns.

What about eddie?

How did you guess?

“Edwin!” Viconia gasps before they both explode in a wave of hysterical laughter that is followed by furious coughing and ends up with a friendly hug after which they separate to retreat to their respective sides of the bed.

Ah, so they figured out the putting the beds together to make them long enough thing too, then. Eddie could be struggling if he's in a single room, mind.

Ack! You're reading my mind! :D

“Whatever… now shut up or I’ll cast Silence on you,” Viconia mutters as finally the room engulfs in blissful silence…

Surprised she's never done that on Theo and Jaheira, actually :P

That would be a tad risky knowing Jaheira's temper... :)

Nice chapter :)

Thank you! :P

True. I think that Jaheira was feeling terribly guilty and delayed it for as long as she could... not a good thing to do, really. :)

No. And now, of course, theo's making exactly the same kind of mistake by delaying telling her the truth about what happened to khalid...

Well...I suppose you could kill off Theo, have Jaheira have a sudden change of heart, resurrect Khalid somehow and get them back together...but it might go against the spirit of the story a little bit :) .
It would probably make Hunter happy though :P

But she wouldn't be able to shout if she was silenced :P . Maybe a sleep spell would be a better bet though - then they might not realise it was a spell and just think they were both very tired or something.

Now, do I detect a heavy Weyounic influence here or what?

But in this case it was nice - chuckle. I think you've got Imoen's voice right. Viconia is a tough cookie, but I have a strange feeling she might fall for Immy's childishness, cause it is so easy to like her.

“Grrr, how comes that a building with stone walls has such a poor sound protection,” Imoen complains loudly, sticking her pink-haired head into the pillow, “I can’t sleep with all that racket they’re making…”

“Peeping holes!” Imoen exclaims, “let’s see if we can find ‘em!”

Nasty girl!

Ah, I forgot that particular twist - nice go ... I think Imoen might actually feel this way indeed.

“Serves you right, Viconia! Don’t you ever, ever call Khalid names again! I… I liked him and I… loved him as a friend. I miss him dearly, but I don’t think you can understand,” Imoen sighs heavily.

Hmm, it was quite a nice speech, actually. And the banters between Vicky and Imoen are sort of interesting in the actual game ...

“How? I don’t plan to sleep with her, if you were implying that,” Viconia smirks.

 Really? lol!

“Whatever… now shut up or I’ll cast Silence on you,” Viconia mutters as finally the room engulfs in blissful silence…

Hey - that was unfair - they were both behaving like children.

Loved it.

No. And now, of course, theo's making exactly the same kind of mistake by delaying telling her the truth about what happened to khalid...

Yep. Hopefully, it won't have that dire consequences... and of course it gives me a reason to torment them until that secret is out...

That is what Viconia can not understand - the concept of love is still pretty alien to her... which may change. I do feel pretty rotten for poor Khalid - the depressing thing is that I can't really make it up to him now in this story...

Err. Yep... that would be a 'little bit' against the spirit of the story. Perhaps I'll just write something more complimentary to Khalid from a different continuity.

But she wouldn't be able to shout if she was silenced :) . Maybe a sleep spell would be a better bet though - then they might not realise it was a spell and just think they were both very tired or something.

Indeed. Being silent will not hold back Jaheira from engaging in a fist fight, mind you.

Now, do I detect a heavy Weyounic influence here or what?

Perhaps. Actually, I am currently posting the chapters that have been written a month and a half-ago, so I was not sure about Weyoun's plans towards Im and Vicky. Now that I know where he is going, I realize that our plans coincide - but I don't plan to change anything, after all our approach will probably be quite different, anyways. I feel that my Imoen for example is a bit darker and my Vico is nastier too...

But in this case it was nice - chuckle. I think you've got Imoen's voice right. Viconia is a tough cookie, but I have a strange feeling she might fall for Immy's childishness, cause it is so easy to like her.

Yes, I think they are naturally attracted to each other.

“Grrr, how comes that a building with stone walls has such a poor sound protection,” Imoen complains loudly, sticking her pink-haired head into the pillow, “I can’t sleep with all that racket they’re making…”

But of course. :)

Nasty girl!

Curious girl!

“Well, I am not interested in that either, I just wanted to find that peeping hole,” Imoen grins and that makes Viconia even more angry, “hey, I’m a rogue – I gotta practice!”

Gee - I knew you won't let them find one- but it was a nice try.

Heh. Had they found that hole, this chapter would require a REALLY STRONG adult warning.

“It’s not that, Vic,” Imoen replies, “It is… well, it’s about Khalid…”

Ah, I forgot that particular twist - nice go ... I think Imoen might actually feel this way indeed.

I can just see Imoen and Khalid forming very friendly relationship, so I assumed that she would feel bad. I would have loved Imoen making some kind of comment towards PC/Jaheira romance in the game - not a negatory remark, but at least something...

“Serves you right, Viconia! Don’t you ever, ever call Khalid names again! I… I liked him and I… loved him as a friend. I miss him dearly, but I don’t think you can understand,” Imoen sighs heavily.

Ouch! Don't bite Immy.

Vic earned it.

Hmm, it was quite a nice speech, actually. And the banters between Vicky and Imoen are sort of interesting in the actual game ...

Yes, Immy stands up for her more than once, iirc - it's not really hard to imagine that there is something more behind this...

“How? I don’t plan to sleep with her, if you were implying that,” Viconia smirks.

:? Really? lol!

Uh... now I have some really interesting images in my head again... ah, bad, bad, Theo - stop being such a sexist pig... :?

“Pink haired menace…” those are Viconia’s last words before she drifts of to the dream world.

Hey - that was unfair - they were both behaving like children. :)

That's right, hard to stay serious around Immy. :)

Loved it.

Cheers!

Hehe. My Imoen is hardly an innocent child at this stage. She wants to play on to Viconia and tries to assume a more loose-moral, bad-girl image, thinking that Vic might like it. It's purely subconscious at this time. Subtle eroticism is an integral part of the story and my writing style, I have to admit.

Here is the Imoen and Vicky chapter, as promised. Contains some naughtiness and heavy innuendo… :P

Damn, I've got behind on my commenting again, but it's been too hot here to even think recently.

“Grrr, how comes that a building with stone walls has such a poor sound protection,” Imoen complains loudly, sticking her pink-haired head into the pillow, “I can’t sleep with all that racket they’re making…”

Benny: Believe me, Immy, I know exactly how it is...

“Vic? Vic? VIC?”

*grins* That's definitely Imoen.

“Druid’s late husband?” Viconia asks with incomprehension, “what does he got to do with his ex-wife spreading her legs for another? I admit, I do not understand the surface customs, but I see nothing that would make me feel queasy about it.”

Somehow, I'm not surprised.

“Don’t… don’t you dare – Viconia, don’t you dare call Khalid pathetic!” Imoen’s voice almost turns into a scream, but Viconia shuts her palm over Imoen’s mouth.

You tell her, Imoen!

“Edwin!” Viconia gasps before they both explode in a wave of hysterical laughter that is followed by furious coughing and ends up with a friendly hug after which they separate to retreat to their respective sides of the bed.

*laughs* Poor Edwin.

“Pink haired menace…” those are Viconia’s last words before she drifts of to the dream world.

Awww! That was a sweet chapter.

Oops, sorry. I am enjoying a slight respite from the heat wave that seems to have gripped the central europe...

I wonder who are the loud ones in his case... Kane and Edwin?

“Hug me again, and you will be sleeping in the hallway.”

Yep... childish and exuberant.

“Druid’s late husband?” Viconia asks with incomprehension, “what does he got to do with his ex-wife spreading her legs for another? I admit, I do not understand the surface customs, but I see nothing that would make me feel queasy about it.”

Well, nothing wrong about a widow pursuing a new relationship, imo... but Viconia with her bluntness makes it feel quite queasy... :(

“Don’t… don’t you dare – Viconia, don’t you dare call Khalid pathetic!” Imoen’s voice almost turns into a scream, but Viconia shuts her palm over Imoen’s mouth.

Yep! Khalid was a brave and decent man, he does not deserve to be mocked.

Ah, I'm sure that he knows how to leave those concubines gasping....

“Pink haired menace…” those are Viconia’s last words before she drifts of to the dream world.

Awww! That was a sweet chapter.

Here is the Imoen and Vicky chapter, as promised. Contains some naughtiness and heavy innuendo…

Wooo! I've been waiting for this one.

“Grrr, how comes that a building with stone walls has such a poor sound protection,” Imoen complains loudly, sticking her pink-haired head into the pillow, “I can’t sleep with all that racket they’re making…”

*snicker* Luckily, Laska has a house with thick walls... So only Viconia with her sensitive ears can hear them at that. :)

“Peeping holes!” Imoen exclaims, “let’s see if we can find ‘em!”

LOL!

It’s attached to the floor with bolts, you nitwit!”

LOL! So much for mouse-magic.

Viconia is angry, “now see, you made me rise from the bed for nothing. Why did I even bothered rising up – it’s not like I, a Drow, am interested into peeping at two half-bred mongrels in the process of coupling. Pah!”

LOL! She'd probably just critisize their 'inferior' techniques anyway.

“Vic? Vic? VIC?”

“WHAT?”

“Er… you’ re not really angry, are you? Say that you’re not angry, please? Please? Pretty please? Very pretty please?”

Awww...

“Shut up, or I will suffocate you with my pillow, brat!”

Pick-up line of the century! :)

“Awwww, thanks Vic, I know you won’t stay mad at me…”

“Hug me again, and you will be sleeping in the hallway.”

*snicker* :)

“Don’t… don’t you dare – Viconia, don’t you dare call Khalid pathetic!” Imoen’s voice almost turns into a scream, but Viconia shuts her palm over Imoen’s mouth.

Imoen's feelings for Khalid? Lovely twist...

Awww, that was a nice thing to say.

LOL! Cute goddess of love and sensuality...

Will be, ey?

Viconia raises her leg too and lifts it beside Imoen’s to compare the size of their feet…

“What a ridiculous superstition, it does not prove a thing,” Viconia frowns, lowering her leg.

“Aww, don’t feel disappointed, Vic… yours is just a tad larger than mine…” Imoen giggles.

*snicker*

Awww, very cute!

Good. Don't even think about changing anything! It would be interesting to compare notes, would it not? Besides, there's enough difference in setting, party and character portrayals to keep things interesting for both to write about, no?

Here is the Imoen and Vicky chapter, as promised. Contains some naughtiness and heavy innuendo…

Wooo! I've been waiting for this one.

I really can't imagine why...

Poor Vic... maybe it will give her the push into the right direction... :)

“Peeping holes!” Imoen exclaims, “let’s see if we can find ‘em!”

LOL!

Theo: Agh! How embarassing!

“Magical, nothing! It’s attached to the floor with bolts, you nitwit!”

LOL! So much for mouse-magic. :)

Exactly! :P

And perhaps give a few pointers, afterwards...

“Er… you’ re not really angry, are you? Say that you’re not angry, please? Please? Pretty please? Very pretty please?”

Awww... :)

Can you resist her? Not a chance...

“Shut up, or I will suffocate you with my pillow, brat!”

Pick-up line of the century! :)

Works every time! :)

“Hug me again, and you will be sleeping in the hallway.”

*snicker* :)

Vic still has a lot to learn...

“Don’t… don’t you dare – Viconia, don’t you dare call Khalid pathetic!” Imoen’s voice almost turns into a scream, but Viconia shuts her palm over Imoen’s mouth.

Imoen's feelings for Khalid? Lovely twist...

Heh, I thought it could be possible that she would develop an innocent crush...

Awww, that was a nice thing to say.

Viconia isn't trying to hurt her... sometimes, it just happens...

LOL! Cute goddess of love and sensuality...

Goddess of mischief would be more appropriate, I think.

Will be, ey?

Hmm. Do you expect me to talk? :)

“Aww, don’t feel disappointed, Vic… yours is just a tad larger than mine…” Imoen giggles.

*snicker*

Good that she doesn't talk about other surfacer beliefs... like for example that one concerning noses... Theo would be a bit embarassed.

“Edwin!” Viconia gasps before they both explode in a wave of hysterical laughter that is followed by furious coughing and ends up with a friendly hug after which they separate to retreat to their respective sides of the bed.

Nice to find a scapegoat in Eddie...

“Pink haired menace…” those are Viconia’s last words before she drifts of to the dream world.

Awww, very cute!

It felt quite natural to write them together, too... :P

Great stuff,

Indeed, that's exactly what I thought... :)
