Finally, heeeere goes. This is a story about Kita, a female human rogue who loves to drink, but haven't got the stomach for it, and her companion Kyron, a human, male sorcerer who is laidback, calm, a little bit sarcastic and basically a fatherly figure though BG2 and probably ToB. And he's going to romance Nalia. And get the Keep. I need reviews, so any comments would be grealy appreciated. Why is there a Prologue of a Prologue you ask? Because I basically skipped all of BG1 and hopped right into BG1. I even skipped Chateau Irenicus, because I don't write what I don't like (what's the point, then?!), and I hate Chateau Irenicus.

Alright, and I quoteth Cespenar, enjoy!
--------------------------------
PROLOGUE OF A PROLOGUE

"YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!" Kita screamed. "Sarevok is de-ad, Sarevok is de-ad." she began to sang.
"I'm trying to think here! And we're in a tavern!" Kyron shouted above her voice, she was attracting attention. "Be quiet, will you. Act more mature. I'd have thought the fight with Sarevok would have taught you a lesson."
"Don't be such a grumpypuss!" Alora said, cheerful as ever. Kyron groaned. It's not as if he didn't like Alora, she's likeable enough...but she could get annoying sometimes. Especially when there's not one but two girls singing into your ears.
"I assume you ladies want to party all night?" he asked, turning around to Kita and Imoen.
"Yeeeeees!" they chanted. "Sarevok is de-ad. Sarevok is de-ad."
"Stop it!"
"Sarevok is de-ad..."
"Alright, I'm going up to my room." Kyron stated loudly, and the sorcerer walked upstairs. Behind him, he heard a clatter and a crash a knew that the girls had probably broken another plate, or mug, or whatever.

Behind him, a man in the shadows grinned to himself.
"Yeeesssss..." he hissed, quietly.

Damn that Sarevok. He thought, touching his new scar on his left cheek absentmindly. But now that Gorion has been avenged, does he still need to stay with Kita and look after her?
Probably not. He thought. Gorion had only instructed to wait for him and Kita.
But he's dead.
And where will he go if he left? To the Harpers?
And live a life of doing jobs for those people?
Kyron respected the Harpers, and he even used to help them do jobs occassionally under Gorion's instructions. But he didn't like them, the way they prod their noses into everyone's business. And there's Elminster, he mused, who pokes his abnormally huge hooked nose into EVERYONE's business, but never actually telling them anything. If somebody asked him the colour of the sky, he would probably tell them it is the same to that of the sea. He plays everyone like a piccolo on the eve of summer, as a good friend had stated.
Perhaps he just needed to lie down, Kyron thought, and he did so.

Well, at least this is the best sleep I'll have in a while. He thought to himself, as he closed his eyes slowly. Truly, with Sarevok dead, there was very little left for him to worry about. Perhaps this will be a plesant evening after all.

He turned out to be wrong.

Dead wrong.

Oh, skip the dungeon, certainly. I did, and I didn't even bother with a prologue! Just went straight to the battle on Waukeen's Promenade (Chateau Irenicus is hard to make interesting, anyway)

"YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!" Kita screamed. "Sarevok is de-ad, Sarevok is de-ad." she began to sang.

Hey, a PC who ISN'T doom and gloom. I'm already thinking that Kyron's going to be struggling a lot to keep her in check.

"I'm trying to think here! And we're in a tavern!" Kyron shouted above her voice, she was attracting attention. "Be quiet, will you. Act more mature. I'd have thought the fight with Sarevok would have taught you a lesson."

Yes, I see I was right. I already like him. :P

Vampiric man?

Damn that Sarevok. He thought, touching his new scar on his left cheek absentmindly. But now that Gorion has been avenged, does he still need to stay with Kita and look after her?

Hmm. Kyron's a sort of replacement for J&K here? Interesting.

Kyron respected the Harpers, and he even used to help them do jobs occassionally under Gorion's instructions. But he didn't like them, the way they prod their noses into everyone's business. Elminster bashing. You'll fit right in. :)

Dead wrong.

Erk. If you hadn't mentioned that he'd be going on to BG2, I'd have assumed he'd also be... well, dead.

Hey, not bad, looks like it could be fun. Need to see more from you, mind. :x

Pretty interesting. So Kyron played the role of Khalid and Jaheira through the BG1? I assume that we won't see my beloved Harper couple then? :x Oh, well, can't have all... at least you have brought Alora - she was amongst my Bg1 favorites. Kyron and Kita seem to be interesting and pleasant enough - and romancing Nalia would be something novel for The Attic... should be fun as I kinda like that snooty redheaded noble :)

Actually, J&K IS in the story. In BG1, I think you meet some Harpers in the city o' Baldur's Gate...so I wrote they ran off to do some important, prod-nose-into-business type jobs. They'll return soon...with Khalid killed off by Baron Ployer (poor guy just NEEDS to die).

Jaheira also happens to be the only person alive who can stop Kita from drinking. Hey, Laska of Tankards and Tempers isn't doom and gloom. She punches people's faces in.

Sounds boring to me.

He's the puppet master who manipulates everyone.

Good beginning
