Also, I think it might just work if you have Shadows of Undrentide, without downloading the patch. And I've just downloaded the Attic Module. Looks great, guys! And I also would like to ask if I can make myself a bedroom? What do I do, just pick any empty one, redecorate, then send someone the module back? Who? :)

Uh... what do you mean about SoU? And patching it?

As for the bedroom, it depends upon whether you'd prefer to do it yourself or if you'd rather let the "decorating crew" do it. In the former case, go ahead and choose the empty one, then export the bedrooms area and send it to... uh, well, normally you'd send it to me, but I've been away for the past five weeks and have been out of the loop. So, uh, send a version to me and one to Strange_Girl, I guess. But before you do any work on it, let us know in advance so that we don't do any work on the bedrooms ourselves and then run into an overwrite conflict. Or, in the latter case, just indicate which room and what kind of decorations you'd like, and it shall be done. This method is actually easier on us, the module developers, but if you prefer to do it yourself, that's understandable.

As for the next AttiCon, that depends on when the next person wants to host it.

Well, I believe someone said that I need to download a patch so that NWN (the game itself) says version so-and-so, but since SoU came out, the version changed anyway. So do I still have to download the patch?

I would like to do it myself. How do I export it, though? I mean, just the bedrooms and not the whole module. And is there any special rules about making stuff or anything?

Ah, that's what you meant. No, if you have SoU installed, it's automatically version 1.30. You shouldn't need to patch until 1.31 comes out.

Export by right-clicking the area name in the left-hand menu, then select Export Area. One problem though. If you're using the SoU toolset, then any modules (or .erf files) created with the toolset will not be compatible with non-SoU versions of the game, unless you follow a certain procedure first. Check this link for more details:

As for rules... well, just try not to break anything. Or remove other people's furniture. Feel free to customize your room however you like. I would suggest against overcrowding it though, or people may have difficulty entering and exiting the room.

;) AAHHH! I'm quite confused now; but I'll try to do it. If I can't, then I'll just have to ask you guys to do it.

Thank you. :)

I don't see why not. You can decorate it yourself, or as CHAw said, have us decorate it for you...just make sure there isn't anybody taking up residence in the same room already (unless you've talked to that person like W_B and DS).

What do I do, just pick any empty one, redecorate, then send someone the module back?

Exactly.

Who? :) :)

Eh...I think anyone, really. At least anyone who is part of the Attic Module Development Group...except Tenebrous. I don't think his email is working (or he got another one).

In terms of the original question, that remains to be a mystery. I have made a post asking for people to host the AttiCon...so far and as far as I know, the next AttiCon hasn't been scheduled. We are still waiting for someone to step up and volenteer. :)

I would volunteer if I could, but I would rather experience an AttiCon as a guest first, and not a host. But for future reference, what does it take?

At the bare minimum, an email. You could have something for us to do (ex: S_G's Trout Slap Dancing Contest) or...well, whenever you're ready, email one of us.

Hopefully, though, someone will step up and volenteer sometime, so if anyone's reading this, step on up! (and email one of the AttiCon developers)
