Keira hails from New York where, after years of vocational vacillation, she chose to follow in her grandfather's footsteps and undertake the rigors of classical culinary training. She currently practices her art in a popular downtown bistro but dreams of opening her own restaurant someday.
When not sweating in a hot kitchen, Keira relaxes at home by reading, playing computer games and watching Iron Chef reruns with her extremely understanding boyfriend, surrounded by their extended family of four cats, a dog and a sand shark.
