Kyricus comes from the Southern shores of the Great Lake, Erie, residing in a state known as Ohio. Perched in his bungalow overlooking the soothing waves, he practices accountancy. In his spare time rides his sturdy iron horse (Honda Shadow Motorcycle), and is the newsletter editor for a local motorcycle rights organization.
He shares his home and his heart with his model gorgeous girlfriend, cat and dog. In the evenings, this eclectic family gathers in front of the computer, happily vanquishing evil from the realms.
The Dreamers
We all know our PCs dream, vividly. But what about our NPCs? Are they dreamers too? I imagine they are. They travel the lands of Faerun, day and night, following quests, leading the life their paths take them on, forming bonds with their fellow party members.
Do they ever think or wish they were someone other than who they are? A cleric be a thief perhaps? A mighty Paladin becomes a weak yet gifted mage? Would they wish they were not constrained by the strictures of the deity they hold dear? Does the Lawful Good Paladin ever envy the Chaotic Evil Mage for their freedom of will? Is the Neutral Ranger envious of the black and white world that rules the extremes of Good and Evil?
Do these thoughts transform themselves into dreams, and if so, what would these dreams be like as our beloved NPCs take on personas not at all like the one’s they currently have?
