A university student in the UK, Soltas fills his ample spare time by wasting taxpayers' money and taking advantage of the free internet facilities in uni. Sometimes ideas from stories pop into his head and he may even be organised enough to write some of them down, but occasionally real life calls and he must attempt the perilous journey from the land of Faerun to the world of academia.

No, not that sort of dream, the gain-powers, plot-enhancing dream. I am talking about the whole series of your fantastic adventures. What would you do if you awoke one morning, only to find that you were in Candlekeep as normal, with no band of loyal followers, no half-brother nemesis, and no impending godhood? Would your dreams still inspire you to get out there and risk life and limb, saving (or otherwise) the Sword Coast? Or would you, having seen the dangers and darkness, stay at home and aspire to become a Reader in the monastery?
How would you react if you awoke, on your flight from your home, only to see that Gorion had not been murdered by Sarevok, but was safe and sound beside you? How would living under his protection change your adventures? And how would your destiny unfold?
