Luned is an archaeologist who plans to return to work as soon as her child turns two. She presently lives in a small Southern town, where her husband has a job as a computer techie for a manufacturing company. She started pen-and-paper gaming over fifteen years ago, but didn't like CRPGs until she saw the first Baldur's Gate at a friend's house. Besides gaming and writing, her other major hobbies are voracious reading, geology (her other college major), and medieval reenactments.

It’s time to take a little summer vacation from our characters’ customary surroundings. This quiz, I invite you to pay a short visit to some other locales in the Forgotten Realms (or beyond). Call upon distant elven relatives in Evermeet, do a little comparative research on the sewers of Waterdeep vs. those of Athkatla, hack your way through the jungles of Chult! Can’t take the heat? Cool off in Icewind Dale, or brave the perils of the Great Glacier. Take a cruise on the Sea of Fallen Stars, or battle or even join the pirates of the Nelanther Isles. For a truly epic adventure, consider joining one of the great caravans that wend their way along the Silk Road from Mulhorand, land of the god-kings, through the exotic countries of Murghom, Semphar, and Khazari, all the way to fabled Shou Lung. Need a little geographic and cultural help? I’ll try to help you track down a source for the information.
