I am pleased to announce that the old CGI-based message boards have been successfully migrated. All post counts and registration dates have been updated as appropriate.
There's some great stuff in there, I hope to see it eventually make it out into the mainstream part of the site.
Please note that you cannot yet search the quizzes, that will come next weekend (takes a deep breath).
Enjoy!

Yes, awesome job by Q! Being a 'historical' personage myself, having links to the Attic's history is especially important to me. Plus, as he said, there is mucho great stuff there just waiting to be discovered and enjoyed.
I still think my poster title should be 'Needs more beer', though.
Kudos!

Good work! I'm glad to to our history preserved.
I would like to mention though just as Hunter did under the watercooler though that the post counts/jon dates still may not be correct. I joined/started posting at the Attic around October or November 2000 -- not July 2001. My first posts were in the Dave Gaider Romance quiz.

The Guestbook generated HTML pages from the first 30 quizzes are not readily converted as the others were. If someone wants to volunteer to do them, I can give rather explicit instructions on what to do. It's not a technical challenge, just an extreme exercise in copy/pasting.
The dates are from teh first posts recorded taht were transferred.

Well, as someone who doesn't believe in complaining without being willing to do something about it, I'd be willing to work on converting the older quizzes.
