Well, the Rom are in the game - they are one of those 'walking around talking to people' encounters. The little boy being hurt was mine, but his attacker is in the game, just not in that role. Kveroslava does tell fortunes, but of course I tweaked most of them.

Thanks, I appreciate the compliment. That was something I thought a lot about when I was planning AC - just who were these people. I tried to make them as real as I could, and sometimes they surprise me with their reactions. After all, they are supposed to be real people, they had lives before meeting Jarran and they will have lives after AC. They exist beyond simply being companions for the protagonist. I'm happy that you think I am doing a good job of bringing them to life.

Ah, my favorite series gets an update. Magnificently done as always. I have to say, I envy your easy characterization - I am test-writing my current SoA run to see how it works out and I'm having a devil of a time writing Jaheira, which you do so well. Anyway, yeah...nothing specific to say, just an all around well done :)

Thanks! I'll always take a 'well done'! :)

As far as characterization, the hardest person I have to deal with is Jan, which is why he doesn't appear as much as the others. I just don't 'get' his mindset, so I only use him when I'm sure I'm not doing it badly. Jaheira can be hard sometimes, because she works so hard to conceal her true thoughts and feelings. She does let me in for a peek once in a while, though.

Good tale. Very discriptive, loved the hand readings especially (poor Jarran & Jah, can't seem to work themselves out can they?)

Love to see more.

What a truly wonderful chapter:) Jarran's words at the end were breathtaking. I didn't simply just enjoy this chapter, I loved it. Everything from the descriptive rain scene, to the palm readings to Jarran running after Jaheira in the rain was just fantastic reading.

I am anxiously waiting for the parties arrival at Mazzy's home to see how they help her sister. But, I know you will make it worth waiting for:)

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yes, poor Jarran and Jaheira still have issues to work out. Khalid's shadow is a long one.

Thanks! I appreciate the compliments. And Mazzy's sister is next up, so hopefully you won't have too long to wait.

Oh, yeah! Sorry about that, but Minsc is in so much of our stories, naming him in the line-up was automatic... ;)

Interesting. Is the weather always so bad around Trademeet? Last time I was there is was snowing! Yak.

You seem to know a lot about Roma in Faerun, their habits and their special 'jargon'. Can you recommend a game supplement perhaps?

Interesting way to use the prophecy as to extend it on all the party members, not just the Bhaalspawn. My friend Dorotea only used it to scare the daylights out of the daughter of Bhaal. ;)

I love your Jarran - Jaheira dynamics. She sure would be devastated is he choose to 'turn into god'. And her entire monologue about him not being a typical Bhaalspawn, and that being worse because now she was in love with him, was very touching.

Cheers!

Yours truly, Spec.

Maybe it is just my game, but when I'm in the outside-of-Athkatla areas, the weather seems to be perpetually stuck on 'rain'.

Well, I am not sure that the Rom are an official part of FR. I can't remember seeing them before. I just patterned them after our real world Romani (gypsies), since that seemed to be what the game was doing. The language is from our world, too. For example, gulyasleves is just an old word for goulash, and ardei is Romanian for paprika.

Some of the NPCs do have fortunes in the game if she speaks to them before the PC. I thought it would be fun to incorporate the idea.

Thanks. That whole issue is a pretty touchy one. I feel sorry for the romance characters during TOB, having to watch all that stuff happen and wonder where it will all end.

I just played out the Trademeet section of the game & it occured to me that those prophecies that they are dependant on what stage the character's personal quests are at.

The only one in my team to get told their future was too vague was Nalia & my guess is if you go to Trademeet before the run-in with Isaea comes around you may get something more interesting. I've looked in Inf Exp to see but I can't find Kveroslava amongst the dialogs, hoy veh.

It's under TRGYP02. Many of the Trademeet dialogues are under trees beginning with TR.

Ah, I see. Just looked at it. Well if anyone writes a story where the Isaea plot hasn't wrapped up by the time they visit Trademeet they can make up something more interesting for Nalia.

Meanwhile I did notice that all the romances got a telling.
