So far, I've played the Ranger, Paladin, and Bard strongholds, and I like the Ranger SH the best. I mean, hey, you get a nice place to crash in and store all your stuff, the admiration of the townspeople (as long as you do not stall in responding to the events, and do NOT give those kids swords or beer!), plus the opportunity to put a popular myth to rest :D. I just wish there were more stronghold events for the ranger, and maybe less of a delay between them. (I guess I could always write some more in, if I ever get off my butt and write something)

Of course, you get money out of the Bard stronghold too, so I guess that makes it good. 8)

Hey yo, whoa whoa whoa, it WAS for role-playing purposes, LOL!

I admit when I do things for "Can't be bothered to play again" purposes! 8)

Ne, didn't Laufey write a mage for a couple of Anomen stories? With the silly meddling fairy dragon? I liked those stories. She was a Chaotic Good mage like the Siren. :D;

I haven't done too much with the sphere in the Siren's game. I've only had two items made... I'm stuck in the Underdark now so it'll be a while before I see what happens with it.

I have an evil Kensai character that I DO want to dual to a mage. She's powerful and fast, but after a while, just playing fighters gets boring. 8) In my opinion, anyway. It always seems like fighters don't gain much from their levels after a while, but mages can always look forward to more spells! I'm still deciding whether I'll take Nalia's keep or the sphere for my Kensai. Though for Tamris (that's her name) I was actually considering killing Valygar... *runs away from Valygar fans*

Interesting fact about the sphere: Right when the Siren finished her sphere quest was when she and Anomen "did the deed" for the first time. Heh heh. It was really strange when we woke up to Cowled Wizards teleporting in...

Hmm. Maybe I could actually write about that. *snicker*

Hehe, any reason for that? :D I've never played a thief before.

Ha! My very first run through (and the only time I finished! Eep) I had a CG mage and I did kill Valygar. I wasn't really sure what to do with the body, though. So we had a BBQ afterwards :D Tasted like chicken.

Ahh! I'm kidding!!

(See? Anomen isn't the only one! ;)

LOL!! You should! Anomen is perfect for awkward moments. :D

I dunno, I just love rogues. Like Eldoth, yumm... er... :D

Yeah, a golem changing nappies. Oh, I can just see that.

You've noticed, of course, that there's no real living space in the Sphere?

At least the Keep has garderobes.

Oh yeah, lol, the Euphoria Gas. And the Otto's Irresistible Dance spell.. that was my idea, hehe. Aww, Puff... I miss Puff!! Where has he disappeared to?? Did Anomen throw him into the ocean in a weighted bag?? :D

Eldoth was the evil bard who umm... had a girlfriend in Baldur's Gate. I think it was Skie... I dunno, I didn't play BG1 with the NPCs either. All I know is that he's the hottie with the black hair and goatee 8)

Oh, and what Puff did wasn't as bad as what I do?

(Puff didn't kill Anomen)

Oh... well, I'm sure he meant well *big grin, exit stage left*

> never met him...sounds cool though:)

Yeah, you meet him pretty late in the game, IIRC. Not sure where. You can go to BG Chronicles and read up on him, though. He's pretty cool... for a bard (hey, wait... I LIKE bards!)

Hmmm, I guess it goes to show how tastes are so varied. My reaction to Eldoth was 'yuck'. I reacted to Coran the same way, though he at least was useful. I didn't bother to take Eldoth into my party because he gave me the creeps.

Yeah Silrana, you hit it right on the nail.

No offense Lara, but my opinion of Eldoth is that he's a manipulating slimeball..Eldoth pissed me off so much..he's the only npc I haven't taken into my party. I liked Coran though, he was great with the bow and he and Safana reacted well together. Bards are all right...now Garrick, he might have been an airheaded bimbo..but he's cute...Kivan was cool, the quiet mysterious type.

Guess everyone's tastes are different.

I think Eldoth's good looking, but that smirk on his face is just icky! Never got him in BG1, either.

Well, like I said I didn't play with him or any NPC so I can't really comment on their character. He's just cute, like Edwin was in BG1. I liked Kivan, too, though... gah, they had to get rid of all the cute guys for BG2, and there weren't even romances in BG1! Talk about timing, my friend... :)

Besides, I'm sort of attracted to manipulating slimeballs. I can't help it! (NOT in RL, though. Yech) I was torn between cheering and crying when Artemis offed Drizzt, hehe.
