What about Imoen?

Hi , I just want to say that I haven't started playing BG2 but I have already purchased the game.....( I'm still playing BG1 I have been reading with interest about all this romancing with your npcs and such ....but why haven't I heard anything about Imoen? Judging by how things go in the first game , I would definitely say that Imoen actually likes the main character. I would have expected that she be included with the likes of Jaheira, Aerie and Viconia.When I start playing BG2 I would love to start a relationship with Aerie and to watch Imoen get really jealous at her and be in a situation whereby she begins to drift away from the main character and ends up all alone. Then maybe for the ending of BG3 Aerie gets killed somehow ( probably sacrificing her life for the main character) leaving the main character hopelessly lost......leaving only Imoen to comfort him. Now that would be a superb ending for the best RPG ever created ... Kudos to Bioware !!

Um. Well...I wanted my Cavalier to have a relationship with Imoen too. Until I played the game. Go play the game and you'll see. It's not practical to have a relationship with Imoen.

Uhm....for one, a romance between the main character and Imoen in BG2 is not quite...possible. For another thing, I think you are assuming the main character always to be a male. Which is not the case. I play with a female MC; it would be rather awkward for Aerie or Imoen to fall in love with me...

The gaming world does not belong to males alone. What about a romance between the MC and Minsc or Yoshimo?

(although, hey, I'm sure a little lesbian action would sure draw in the hormonally-buzzing male gaming crowd...)
