Talon
August Rencour, a merchant, tough but fair, earnt himself enemies. They recruited a mercenary to remove him. This mercenary stalked Rencour, waiting, leaving a trail of carnage for Rencour wearing on the gentle merchant's sanity until his dreams were of blood.
Rencour snapped and resolved to turned the tables. He invested his estate into training, specifically killing. Disappearing into the underworld, Rencour assasinated the men who sent the mercenary.
Aquainted with the killer's mind, Rencour knew he would not stop despite his employers' slaughter. Rencour found him, in a dank alley vulture like over the corpse of a girl. Rencour felt nothing but his hatred for the killer and attacked. A knife battle, a dance of frenzied aggression and cold detirmination, both men lost to human thought.
August Rencour was dead before the battle began, but he didn't become Talon until the blade of his foe cut into his throat.
Talon smiled, like a skull stripped bare, and as his foe melted into terror, Talon plunged his twin daggers into his foe's eyes, ending him.
Talon lives on as an assasin, ending men. Still haunted by images of death, killing eases him. Working alone, he never speaks of August Rencour.
