The prostitute, Rose, has seen many terrible things. But she still manages to cringe back from this killer that shares her name.
This woman whose name is also Rose, nods at her answers to her questions about the murders in the Bridge District. The woman has white hair, but is no Drow. She is human, but her one remaining eye is as cold as the Icewind Dale. Where there other once was, there is a white silk eyepatch.
She wears two katana strapped to her back. She wears strange blue and orange chain mail. And while she seems as grim as any Rose has ever seen, she also seems sad...regretful, wishing for a happier life she could no longer have.
The killer Rose gives the prostitute Rose a poltie half-bow before walking away with her companions.

"Don't worry Rose," says Tara, an Earth Elementalist spellcaster Rose has known since childhood. "We'll get Imoen back. We'll get our sister back."
Rose nods grimly. "Just don't let Jansen tell any more tales about it. I'm in no mood.
Tara laughs, her short ruff of blonde hair fluttering in the wind. "Would you rather Anomen and Yoshimo fought for your affections some more?"
Rose sighs and closes her remaining eye. "No. If either wants me, they know where to find me."
"I'll take whichever one you spurn," Tara smirks.
"Who said I would spurn either of them? But you are welcome to either. Assuming Viconia does not intrude. But in truth that is not what I want."
"What do you want?"
"To go home."
"Candlekeep was never our home," Tara says.
"No, but the Tower of Titanus was."
"That place is far from here, farther even than Candlekeep."
"This I know," Rose sighs.
She feels the blood of her hated father stir within her, once again.
Not tonight father, she murmurs inwardly. Not tonight.
For her title, Ravager, has nothing to do with Bhaal's avatars. That name, she earned on her own.
No matter her intention, the blood would never wash off her hands.
Never.

Ok. So when I saw the title, my first thought was... Rose... Ravager... like... Rose Wilson? You know, Slade's daughter? Crazy girl, stabbed her own eye out? That Rose?
And, lo and behold, I was right. Teen Titans reference! You win, good sir. You win.
Now if only you wrote her as carrying around a big chunk of glowing, green rock in her eye socket.
Or maybe having her get her butt handed to her by Cassie.

Yeah well as the post hinted, Rose is a little less than happy with her daddy dearest lately, partially because of that whole Kryptonite in Eyeball thingie, once Nightwing explained it to her.

I've been following Titans. It's one of the few not Bat-family-specific titles I read. It's basically Batman, Detective Comics, Batgirl and Gotham Central before they got canned, Robin, Nightwing, and Titans. Oh, and Birds of Prey. Because Oracle is love.
Personally, the best part of that scene is where Eddie shows up, Tim is all "Uh... it's not what you think..." and there's Rose with her hands cuffed behind her back going "Oh, yes it is."
That girl is... well... the equivalent of the town bike... and yet, she amuses me.
