(probably the most sexually explicit chapter I've done.)

Sarevok and Besheridan had now gathered a handful of recruits, the neucleus of the force that would wage war on the tower with them.

First there was Lillishaundra, the succubus. Sarevok had no more fear of her, as he was already dead she could not drain him. The only thing that had held him back so far was the memory of Tamoko, and he could not go without satisfaction forever.

Then there was Blarg. He had been a Half-Orc in life, and was beginning the transformation into Demon already. Normally such transformations had to be initiated by the Dark Powers, but Blarg had been fighting so long in these conditions, and his temprament so ideally suited to such, that the transformation had begun on it's own, without prompting. That had made Besheidan worry that Blarg might turn on them, but Sarevok new better. The Half-Orc would stay with them until they completed their objective or fell; and would try to rule the tower himself after they had gone. The transformation to Demon was taking visibile effect as the Half-Orc's skin had turned blood red and he had sprouted another pair of arms. An axe was wielded in each of his four hands.

Sertul was a Vampire. And he was old. Very old, even for one of his kind. He spoke little. He was aiding Sarevok because it was something to do, to break the ennui.

Lastly, at least so far, was Verl. He had been a Bhaal cultist in life, and was eager to help the dead Spawn continue his own plans of power.

Sarevok laid back and looked into the burning sky. Things were going well. Soon they would be ready.

Lillishaundra's shadow fell over him, wings spread. "Besheridan does not trust me."

Sarevok shrugged and did not get up. "He'll get over it."

The succubus began to peel away his armor.

"You don't have to--"

"Hush." One long-nailed finger lay across his lips, warm and welcoming. It wasn't long before she had completed her work, and settled herself upon him.

Though he still mourned Tamoko, it had been to long. He did not resist her, and his body responded. Her wings wrapped around him.

"That's right, yessssss..." The succubus threw back her head and smiled into the sky as it began to rain blood.

-----

Sir Ryan Trawl looked even less happy about this turn of events, but handed over the cup without much argument. They started back.

"Perhaps we should rest the night before handing it over, lest the monkey gets suspicious," said Edwin."

"I think it will come to a fight regardless, but nevertheless you have a point," said Adrian. "We will rest early, and get up early, before the sun shines and surprise him, before he is ready.

The entire party approved of that.

---

As they went to bed, Viconia embraced him and took him in almost exactly the same way as the Succubus took Sarevok below, though neither of them knew it.
The road to the abyss may be paved with good intentions, but it is those with bad intentions that race down that road as fast as they can.

Ah yes. Not without a sense of....honor? hmm....Sarevok knows how to lend certain things a proper gravitas.

Nice. I dig this guy.

Sertul was a Vampire. And he was old. Very old, even for one of his kind. He spoke little. He was aiding Sarevok because it was something to do, to break the ennui.

ennui = vampirese for 'boredom'?

Lastly, at least so far, was Verl. He had been a Bhaal cultist in life, and was eager to help the dead Spawn continue his own plans of power.

"DO SLEEP WITH THAT SUCCUBUS!"

"Perhaps we should rest the night before handing it over, lest the monkey gets suspicious," said Edwin."

very good point

"I think it will come to a fight regardless, but nevertheless you have a point," said Adrian. "We will rest early, and get up early, before the sun shines and surprise him, before he is ready.

I'll bet they did!

Oooh I dig that.

I was going for the same parallelism-of-consorts with Cynthandria and Safana that time, although it was much more campy of course, and w/o any deep purpose. (Parallelism for the sake of it, a guilty indulgence of mine.)

Personally - even at the hypersensitive Attic - I don't think either this or that Bodhi chapter needed warnings...but hey, better-safe-than-sorry and all that I guess. :?

Nice little detail here!

NICE! The wings really add a certain something, I think.

And this little irony appeals to me as well. :D

He takes it Seriously. As do I.

ennui = vampirese for 'boredom'?

It's a real word for boredom, actually. French originally, I think.

I was going for the same parallelism-of-consorts with Cynthandria and Safana that time, although it was much more campy of course, and w/o any deep purpose. (Parallelism for the sake of it, a guilty indulgence of mine.)

Uh...I was doing it for it's own sake here too....

Exactly. Again, I take these things Seriously.

Good chapter Arcalian, included two of my most favorite creatures, a succubus and a vampire ;)

Keep up the good work

Wow... that is wickedly sexy, suits the unredeemed Sarevok well!

As they went to bed, Viconia embraced him and took him in almost exactly the same way as the Succubus took Sarevok below, though neither of them knew it.

Great forces are in motion, and the lives of the brothers move along the pattern.

*ale-toast on-the-shoulder clap of bonhomie* cheers then! Cuz I dig the stuff.

And actually, whether you intended it or not, I did read in a message..."Both brothers are very evil, but they can Care." (You've also done well in that respect with Adrian caring about Imoen.)

My message was almost the reverse, "One is evil and one is good, but both are mortal men susceptible to wiles."

Personally - even at the hypersensitive Attic - I don't think either this or that Bodhi chapter needed warnings...but hey, better-safe-than-sorry and all that I guess. :D

I'm very partial to Succubuses of late for some reason.

Great forces are in motion, and the lives of the brothers move along the pattern.

This was one of those things that wasn't planned, I was just sitting there and my brain went "write this now!" TOB is still very far away, but we will get to see more of Sarevok storming this tower.
The road to the abyss may be paved with good intentions, but it is those with bad intentions that race down that road as fast as they can.
