30 Mirtul, DR 1369
Unto Lord Cor, Head of House Delryn, greetings from Lady Delcia Caan.
I offer my condolences to you upon the loss of your daughter Moira. I am aware that you may feel some ill-will towards me because of past disagreements, yet I hope you will read this letter out. I have been made privy to some intelligence concerning the young lady’s decease which I feel compelled to present to you. If you wish to learn more of the circumstances of her demise, as well as the source of many past wrongs to your House, please call at Caan House for tea at half-past three this afternoon.

To Lady Caan from Lord Cor.
All right, Delsy, I’ll bite if it means getting Saerk nailed for this final outrage. Mind you have something fit for a man to eat and drink, not that filthy tea-and-cucumber-sandwich muck, and this better not be you trying to plead for that no-count ex-son of mine. You never liked him anyway!
